Tak Tak began over a Friendsgiving dinner in Chicago in 2018. Our dream is to make glass more accessible for folks everywhere. We hope each tabletop companion brings joy, humor, and magic to your everyday ritual.

Risa Recio is the founder and glassmaker behind Tak Tak -  a multi-disciplinary glass brand and mobile classroom built on three core pillars: crafting handblown glassware for retail, hosting hands-on glass workshops for the public, and providing professional development opportunities for fellow artists and craftspeople. This creative ecosystem is a culmination of two decades of exhibition and educational experience in the arts with the last decade specializing in handmade glass.
