Create a Filipino Parol Ornament!

When: Saturday, November 14th, Session 1: 11:30am-1:30pm, Session 2: 2-4pm

Join us as we celebrate the final edition of TAYO NA Magazine. It's a Filipino-forward festival, which means EVERYONE is invited. Filipinos, friends of Filipinos, anyone that's heard of Alexandra Eala or for those who loves a good meal if you're not hungry... basta you're invited! In this workshop, we're be making a 3.5" fused glass "parol" - an iconic Christmas lantern decoration found lining the streets, adorning people's houses, in all shapes and materials. 

What's included:

• 120mins of personal and professional instruction
• Use of PPE (safety glasses and gloves)
  
• 3.5" clear circle base
• Sheet glass in red, yellow, blue, green, or white build your ornament
• Glass paints for fine details and writing
• Use of fusing tool kit to assemble glass
  
• 2 tassles attached after firing
• Nichrome hooks for hanging
• Kiln firing services post-workshop

Ticket is for one (1) participant. All materials included, no experience necessary! 

Since this workshop is at an event location, your pieces will require shipping. The will be ready 2-3 weeks after the workshop. 

Requirements:

All participants MUST wear enclosed shoes for this workshop. 

Participants must be 13+. Participants between the ages of 13 and 18 must attend with a participating parent or guardian.

All participants must sign this Waiver before the workshop begins.
