Create Your Own Fused Glass Lantern

Join Studio Tak Tak for our first ever glass fusing workshop celebrating Lunar New Year at Lau Lau! You'll learn how to safely cut and assemble sheet glass into a lantern design with a template as your guide. All while enjoying the amazing Asian-American inspired food and drink Lau Lau has to offer!

What's included:

• 3 hrs of personal and professional instruction
• Use of PPE (safety glasses and gloves)
• Lantern template as your design guide (3 options)
• Clear, red, and yellow sheet glass to create a 4"x 4" lantern design
• Use of glass cutting and fusing tool kit to cut and assemble glass
• Glass stringers and bits for add-on designs
• Kiln firing services post-workshop
• Choice of tassel added after firing

All materials included, no experience necessary!

Fired and finished pieces will be available for pick-up at Lau Lau 2-3 weeks after workshop. You will be emailed when your pieces are ready!

Requirements:

All participants MUST wear enclosed shoes for this workshop. 

Participants must be 13+. Participants between the ages of 13 and 18 must attend with a participating parent or guardian.

All participants must sign this Waiver before the workshop begins.
